Hi.
Welcome to Julie's Creative Kids Day Care.
I am a licensed day care provider. In addition to this, I am also a licensed social worker with school social work experience. I have 10 years of experience working with children. My main goal with my kids (day care and my own) is for them to have high self-esteem and to feel good about themselves. We also work on kindergarten readiness including the use of zoo phonics among other activities. I have a strong concentration in art from MN State University (along with my social work degree) which helps with day care in the variety of art projects we do andlearning activities in a fun way. We also
do puppet shows with props that go to various books, sensory tables and other
fun learning opportunities.For me day care isn't just a job or career, it's a way of life. I am
blessed to get to spend my day with kids. I am so happy to
have you visit here.
I am currently working on posting some day care artwork. I have it posted also on Face Book. I decided to start this blog because not everyone has Face Book and I wanted those who don't to still be able to see this stuff.
