This is a live cicda we found in the backyard the other day.





I came up with the idea of making a mobile to teach the kids about cicadas.



The mobile has pictures of and about ciacadas. The kids colored/painted the pics.

Facts about each picture are on the back. We have been hearing the cicadas every day when we go outside to play. Sometimes we see their shells left behind.

The above explains how I got interested in cicadas a few years ago.
